Before I was writing original stories about second chances, love, and fresh starts, I was deep in the world of fanfiction, and honestly, I still am.

Fanfiction is storytelling at its purest, written by fans, for fans. It’s about reimagining familiar characters, exploring what-ifs, and giving beloved stories new life. For me, it was where I fell in love with writing.

I started writing fanfiction when I was about 11 years old, scribbling down Hey Arnold! story ideas and imagining all the ways Helga and Arnold could finally end up together (team Helga forever). Eventually, I branched out into High School Musical (yes, I was that girl), and from there, it never stopped. Writing fanfic helped me find my voice and gave me the confidence to start telling my own original stories.

These stories are a huge part of my writing journey, they taught me how to build character, explore emotion, and just enjoy the craft of storytelling.
